About the Job:
The successful candidate will provide pre-sales consulting engineering support for IP Business Development in the Middle East region. Responsibilities include being a key speaker at external customer events and representing Nokia, as well as providing technology leadership in IP/MPLS/SR/SDN/Cloud based on the Nokia IP product portfolio. The role involves working within residential, enterprise, and mobile environments of service providers and enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultancy updates in the region.
  • Maintain deep technical IP/solution knowledge (level 5).
  • Manage customer requirements and competitive updates/information.
  • Drive new product introductions and provide RFP support.
  • Act as an evangelist for products in internal and external conferences.
  • Seek new applications for products and solutions.
  • Influence customer architectures and network evolutions.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Cisco CCIE or equivalent qualification.
  • Detailed understanding of IP/MPLS technologies, VPN, and subscriber management.
  • Proven experience in designing complex, operationally critical data network architectures.
  • Strong customer focus and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience engaging with senior management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the IP market vendor landscape.
  • Hands-on experience with Nokia, Cisco, or Juniper router operating systems; multi-vendor experience is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Linux, VMware, KVM, OpenStack, OpenShift, Kubernetes.
  • Experience using NETCONF/YANG, gNMI, Ansible, and scripting.
