As a Security Solutions Architect, you will act as a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for consulting with clients and collaborating with internal teams to develop strategies and architectural visions for complex solutions that meet clients' cybersecurity needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, define, and recommend cybersecurity solutions across various industry sectors.
- Utilize knowledge of security standards, laws, regulations, frameworks, and best practices to support security outcomes.
- Identify and develop security requirements, both functional and non-functional.
- Create demos and proof of concept; define solution specifications for network and infrastructure security.
- Support complex bid responses, partnership models, and detailed pricing strategies.
- Maintain vendor relationships to understand their products and technology positioning.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
- Serve as a primary contact for sales teams and clients regarding cybersecurity requirements.
- Act independently in determining methods and procedures for new assignments.
- Work within medium-sized teams, driving security architecture conversations with clients.
- Possess broad knowledge of various security solutions, technologies, and the concepts of 'Secure by Design' and 'Zero Trust'.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Relevant professional certifications in Security & Security Technology.
Required Experience:
- Over 8 years of experience in Cyber Security, including 4 years in technical solutions and presales.
- Experience in customer-facing roles with the ability to present technical topics to small and medium-sized audiences.
- Familiarity with UAE/Qatar markets and connections with key cybersecurity vendors, especially in the Network Security domain.
- Proficient technical knowledge of security technologies (e.g., Firewalls, WAF, SASE, SIEM, MDR, XDR, Threat Intelligence, SOAR).
- Experience preparing technical architecture blueprints and responding to large-scale complex RFPs.
- Understanding of security trends, threat landscapes, and cybersecurity frameworks.
