Position

Aligned to a territory and working together with Sales and Account Cloud Engineers (ACEs), the Cloud Adoption Manager will primarily focus on the post-booking side of our customer’s lifecycle, ensuring successful and sustainable cloud consumption growth.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the relevant TCE teams to agree on specific activities and deliverables required for each account they are managing.
  • Improve usage and growth of Oracle Cloud while creating a robust customer experience across the entire cloud adoption lifecycle.
  • Drive a fast and smooth customer activation with a strong focus on minimizing time to first value and accelerating consumption growth.
  • Equip customers with relevant knowledge for early usage.
  • Manage and continuously review the customer's Adoption Plan to guarantee progress according to their expectations.
  • Proactively monitor the customer environment, assess risk, and build mitigation plans.
  • Identify potential new workloads or implementation opportunities.
  • Engage relevant teams to assure progress and resolution of service requests, advocating for customers.
  • Identify structural issues affecting customer use of Oracle Cloud and build a resolution plan.
  • Act as a customer advocate for product features and requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in tech cloud engineering roles with a successful track record of customer engagements.
  • Passionate about technology with breadth and depth knowledge of the cloud technology landscape - hands-on experience or certification with Oracle, AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
  • Strong experience in a sales lifecycle with OCI architect experience/certifications.
  • Familiarity with database technologies and IT market literacy to advise on technology best practices.
  • High energy with excellent social skills and a focus on customer centricity.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Problem-solving abilities, strong task planning and delegation skills, and proactivity in demonstrating lateral thinking.
  • Ability to understand customers’ existing IT landscape, business requirements, and their definition of success.
  • Collaboration skills with great networking abilities, capable of working with virtual teams.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities and a high work ethic.
  • Ability to drive creative and new customer engagements to convert customers into strong cloud advocates.
