The HeatWave Analytics Solution Engineer partners with customers, sales, engineering, and product teams to design, demonstrate, and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. The role involves driving Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services, including discovery, design, and deployment.
Key responsibilities include participating in customer engagements to collaboratively design and implement solutions, gathering requirements, developing architectures, and translating business needs into solutions. The Engineer will implement solutions and ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting while displaying product/application understanding through customized presentations and demonstrations.
Support from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment includes resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training. The role requires creating and distributing technical assets such as white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations. The Engineer will serve as a technical point of contact for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with computer applications and tools.
- Ability to travel 25% internationally and domestically.
- Bachelor of Science-level university degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or relevant technical experience preferred.
- Expertise in system and application design, written and verbal communication skills, and solving technical problems in technical environments.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of SQL, Machine Learning, AI, IT architectures, and networking.
- Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview, or Cognos; certification in analytics solutions is preferred.
- Familiarity with database analytics, Cloud technologies, and analytics platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and Azure is a plus.
- Strong programming skills and knowledge of Linux are highly preferred.
