About the Job:
The EMEA Intelligent Data Lake team supports account teams across various functions, including answering tenders, running workshops, customizing demos, and directly supporting customer requests. We seek individuals willing to take on the challenge of building strong product knowledge, collaborating with product management, and conceptualizing solutions in the Intelligent Data Lake domain while maintaining a good commercial sense in an international environment.
As a team member, you will work with our latest offerings and have opportunities for broad development, including product and solution expertise, customer interaction, communication, and general IT market knowledge. Success in this role is crucial, as it offers paths in presales and various IT and non-IT functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate opportunities through technical presentations, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations.
  • Respond to Requests for Information and Proposals, providing insights on product and infrastructure.
  • Create customized analytics demos.
  • Support account teams in promoting Intelligent Data Lake as a key differentiator for innovative data solutions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of business drivers, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams.
  • Attend product training and engage with relevant materials.

Qualifications:
Technical Skills:

  • 7+ years of Solution Engineering or similar experience with a Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing pipelines.
  • Experience with Data Lakes (e.g., Databricks, Fabric), Kafka, and other streaming technologies.
  • Knowledge of Spark and its modules, relational database systems (preferably Oracle), and good SQL knowledge.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, schema design, and NoSQL technologies.
  • Insights into IT market trends particularly related to Data Lakes/Lakehouses.
  • Understanding of Machine Learning and AI concepts.

Non-Technical Skills:

  • Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently or in teams.
  • Openness to diverse languages and cultures.
  • Self-motivated with a drive for learning and mastering new products quickly.

Language Requirements:
Preferred language skills: German, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic.
