Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant to join our Health IT team. In this role, you will collaborate with physicians, surgeons, Chief Medical Officers (CMOs), and other healthcare professionals to design and implement innovative clinical software solutions, including Oracle Health Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. You will also play a pivotal role in integrating evidence-based medical practices and optimizing clinical workflows that improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in Health IT, clinical software design, or a similar role. Proven experience working with EHR systems and designing clinical workflows.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems, medical terminology, and evidence-based practices.
    • Proficiency in software development methodologies, system design, and project management tools.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Health Millennium clinical applications (PowerChart, FirstNet, SurgiNet, MPages, Dynamic Documentation, Orders).
  • Experience supporting physician and surgery workflows.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Workflow Integration:

    • Analyze current clinical and surgical workflows to identify optimization opportunities.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate evidence-based medical practices into software applications.
    • Design workflows that support efficient documentation, decision support, and patient engagement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to physicians, CMOs, and other stakeholders.
    • Facilitate workshops, presentations, and demonstrations to gather feedback.
    • Build strong relationships with healthcare organizations to understand their evolving needs.
  • Project Management & Leadership:

    • Oversee multiple projects ensuring timely delivery, quality assurance, and budget adherence.
    • Mentor junior consultants and technical teams.
    • Stay informed on emerging trends in Health IT and clinical informatics.
