Position

As a Senior Data Architect, you will design, develop, and program methods and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse "big data" sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement enterprise data architecture frameworks supporting the integration, storage, and analysis of healthcare data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of data management tools, technologies, and platforms.
  • Oversee the migration and integration of data from legacy systems to modern platforms.
  • Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and privacy.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering and analytics teams.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in healthcare data architecture and technology.

Required Experience:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing; strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., OCI, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud); experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques; familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and machine learning frameworks; understanding of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM).
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of healthcare data regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and compliance requirements; experience with electronic health records (EHR), clinical data, and patient data.
  • Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends, patterns, and insights; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., SAS, Tableau, Power BI).
