The Oracle Solution Center, part of the Revenue Operations division, offers customers a unique opportunity to engage with Oracle technology experts. This collaborative environment enables clients to discuss, learn about, and test Oracle technology solutions, helping them make informed investment decisions. As the Senior Manager - Cloud Solutions and Architecture, you will play a vital role in leading a team of skilled senior technology consultants and architects. Your focus will be on driving complex presales engagements and securing significant transactions across the full range of Oracle technologies. In this role, you will report to the EMEA Oracle Solution Center Lead and collaborate with fellow OSC managers.
What You’ll Do
- Manage an experienced Sales Consulting team specializing in various technology offerings such as Database and Data Platforms, AI/ML, Public Cloud, Multicloud, Hybrid and Distributed Cloud engagements, and Solution Architecture and modernization recommendations.
- Lead the development of early new product use cases in collaboration with the Product Management team.
- Drive the team to deliver sales consulting engagements for large and complex opportunities, including demos, PoCs, benchmarks, sizings, and architecture design.
- Co-create and support the EMEA OSC growth strategy.
- Speak at events and webinars.
- Provide regular reporting on team and opportunity KPIs to the OSC Leadership team.
- Collaborate closely with the Field Sales, Partners, Industry teams, Global OSC team, and EMEA Solution Engineering organization.
- Define and manage OSC solution presentation Storyboards across the Technology solution set, working with demonstration management for successful delivery of the "story" by your team to prospective customers.
- Train, coach, and support the team in delivering our Technology value propositions, consultative storytelling presentations, and demonstrations to drive results across EMEA.
- Foster a culture of technology curiosity and constant skills development within your team.
- Manage hiring needs and performance of team members.
What You'll Bring
- A minimum of 15 years of overall experience, with at least 10 years in an external customer-facing role.
- Proven experience in selling and positioning Oracle offerings.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, such as Pre-Sales.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to travel when required.
- Capability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external business owners and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Advanced organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
