As the Principal Engineer / Technical Lead at orbit, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of fintech in the MENA region. You will oversee, expand, and manage all aspects of your platform area, which focuses on Cards, Payments, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), or Investment platforms. This unique position offers an opportunity to lead and build a world-class engineering team, tackle high-priority tasks, and address complex issues while delivering innovative products from the ground up and optimizing core systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and meet business objectives.
- Ensure the highest standards of software quality, security, and performance.

Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Software Engineer in the fintech or related industry.
- Proficiency with back-end REST API services.
- Ownership and accountability; demonstrate a proactive approach, taking full responsibility for your projects.
- Strong knowledge of clean coding practices, including object-oriented and event-driven programming concepts.
- Comprehensive understanding of basic algorithms and data structures.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Strong knowledge of financial products, trading systems, and financial markets.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
