We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be part of a significant technological infrastructure, managing a fleet of 8,000 servers across multiple on-premises and public cloud Kubernetes environments, handling over 8 million requests per second and generating multiple terabytes of data daily. A Day in the Life
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs for managing and controlling our data center operations.
- Implement and maintain systems to support cloud-like infrastructure procedures.
- Collaborate with other engineers to discuss challenges and help build optimal systems.
- Develop and maintain tools for monitoring and deployment in a fully GitOps based environment.
- Automate communication with vendors and manage the hardware lifecycle from elevation to decommissioning.
- Participate in on-call support to help resolve production issues.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of experience in software development, focused on automation and infrastructure.
- Proven industry experience in one or more programming languages, such as Go, Python, Java, or similar.
- Proficiency with Linux systems and server management.
- Experience with deployment and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Chef, Ansible, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested production code.
