About the Job:
P2P.org is the largest staking and restaking operator, managing a total value locked (TVL) of over $8 billion. We specialize in launching innovative yield products across various blockchain networks such as Polkadot and Ethereum. Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Design and maintain a multi-cloud, multi-architecture infrastructure for the Polkadot ecosystem and Substrate-based parachains.
- Blockchain Operations: Operate, maintain, and optimize validator and collator nodes; ensure uptime and synchronization of blockchain nodes.
- Observability & Reliability: Develop advanced solutions to monitor node health and performance and establish incident response protocols.
- Automation & Tooling: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and develop tools for infrastructure management.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with engineers and community contributors; mentor team members on SRE practices.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Extensive experience managing Linux systems in production environments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Proven ability to deploy and manage Kubernetes workloads.
- Experience with running or managing blockchain nodes or infrastructure.
- Expertise in observability stacks and incident response tooling.
- English proficiency at level B2 or higher.
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Proficiency in JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with the Substrate framework.
- Contributions to Substrate or Polkadot open-source projects.
- Experience with both cloud and on-premise infrastructures.
