IT Service Desk Agent (UAE National)

Parsons Corporation is seeking an exceptionally talented IT Service Desk Agent (UAE National) to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will provide first-level analytical and IT technical support remotely to end-users of Parsons' personal computers, workstations, and related software and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer end-user IT questions and troubleshoot standard IT issues via telephone, email, or Instant Messenger.
• Recognize, categorize, and isolate end-user questions, resolving situations or referring them to more senior Service Desk staff.
• Research and develop solutions for software and hardware issues.
• Maintain knowledge of the MIS environment and related technologies.
• Follow all Parsons policies, procedures, and standards in responding to end-user requests.
• Document and report all service requests and their outcomes.
• Provide Service Desk on-call support during non-business hours (Weekends and Holidays).
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or Engineering degree with 0-1 years of related work experience in IT support or the MIS environment.
• Desirable: one or more Microsoft or Cisco Training Certifications relevant to the position.
• Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems, applications, and computer technology, including various models, printers, and peripherals.
• Good customer service skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills appropriate for the IT helpdesk role.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve common technical issues with Parsons hardware and software configurations.
