Position

Parsons Corporation is seeking a talented Senior Data Analyst (Project Reporting) to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement robust databases, data collection systems, and advanced data analytics strategies. Your work will optimize statistical efficiency and data quality, enabling the delivery of professional dashboards, data analysis, and automated reports that support informed decision-making in various construction functions. You will also ensure timely and accurate data analysis for construction teams and senior management.

Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time in the Jazan Region.

Job Description:

  • Establish, maintain, and improve project reporting systems and processes.
  • Identify new process improvement opportunities and risks.
  • Design, develop, and implement reports, dashboards, and data analytics strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Analyze data using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports and presentations.
  • Acquire, organize, and maintain data from various sources.
  • Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Create effective charts, graphs, and dashboards to represent project data and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with construction departments, supply chains, and stakeholders to gather and analyze data.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis related to construction projects.
  • Work with the Project Controls team in compiling and presenting progress and cost reports, identifying variances.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all reporting activities.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets.
  • Connect and integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Create DAX calculated columns and measures for advanced analytics.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional reports.
  • Provide support and training to business users on Power BI and related tools.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in developing dashboards in Power BI from operational data.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, data mining, and database management.
  • Experience with advanced statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or Data Analyst, preferably in construction or engineering.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and M language (Power Query); strong Excel skills.
  • Experience with SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes; knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate is a plus.
  • Desirable certifications in Power BI, SQL, or Power Platform.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Energetic self-starter who is organized, conscientious, and proactive.
