Responsibilities
- Solid background in software development/data analysis/data engineering
- Strong Python coding skills
- Working with big data frameworks such as Spark and related tools
- Web crawling, data cleaning, data annotation, data ingestion, and data processing
- Creating and maintaining end-to-end AI/ML/data workloads and pipelines
- Continual focus on process improvement
- Support the development and maintenance of AI expert systems and dockerized ML API microservices
- Provide insights into key business performance metrics
- Support the wider business with their data needs on an ad hoc basis
Skills and Attributes
- Bachelor's degree in AI/ML/DS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- 3+ years of programming experience with Python, SQL, PySpark, Docker, REST APIs, PyTorch, Transformers, sklearn, and other AI/ML frameworks/libraries
- Good corporate capacity and communication skills
- Knowledge of machine learning and big data analytics techniques
- Strong AI, analytical, and data visualization skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Advanced knowledge and practical experience with large language models, particularly transformer architectures
- Experience with models like GPT, BERT, and their variants
- Master’s degree in related fields is desirable
- Experience with Web crawling and cleaning is a plus
- Experience with solution architecture, data ingestion, query optimization, AWS, EC2, S3, SQS, lambda, Elasticsearch, CI/CD frameworks, and workflows is a plus
- Knowledge of data platform concepts and best practices in data processing systems and infrastructure is a plus
