The Opportunity:
We are seeking a meticulous and expert Engineer - Site Reliability to enhance the Presight delivery model, empowering product and technology teams to deliver high-quality products, improve platform infrastructure, and strengthen reliability. This role is crucial in defining and establishing the delivery model for the development of cutting-edge analytics solutions at Presight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive scope definition and architecture for services in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Foster a positive SRE culture that promotes frequent releases, high automation, and software reliability.
- Lead and troubleshoot high-priority incidents, ensuring prompt resolution of critical issues.
- Identify application patterns and analytics for improved service level objectives.
- Continuously improve CI/CD principles and service maturity.
- Propose, architect, and implement innovative solutions in collaboration with internal teams.
- Champion SRE methodologies to predict and prevent disruptions, enhancing availability.
- Design automated change, release, and upgrade management practices.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance and improve service availability through automation and process enhancements.
- Manage 24x7 on-call support.
- Analyze service performance to identify bottlenecks and provide improvement plans.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer matters, fostering trusted advisor relationships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in CI/CD tools and DevOps processes, with mandatory experience in Kubernetes cluster deployment and upgrade.
- Proficiency in Cloud, Linux, Kubernetes, and Python is essential.
- Experience with Azure or other public clouds is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in the architecture and understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and passion for technology, troubleshooting, and customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
