Full Stack Engineer

About the Job
As a Full Stack Engineer at Presight, you will be an integral part of the development team, focusing on building and enhancing the annotation platform from both the front-end and back-end perspectives. This role involves close collaboration with Product Managers, Architects, and Software Engineers to design, research, implement, and improve functionalities within a Big Data analytic system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, refactor, and scale the next-generation data analytics platform, emphasizing data management, ETL pipelines, machine learning model integrations, rich visualizations, and information management.
• Proactively prototype new ideas and components, converting existing proof-of-concept (POC) components into production-grade solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Take ownership of specific functional areas within the project.
• Increase and maintain test coverage.
• Engage in overall architectural discussions.
• Maintain a clear record of activities through proper source control, issue tracking, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of work experience in Front End Engineering Design (FEED).
• Experience with Big Data technologies is an added advantage, including but not limited to Spark, Flink, Kafka, and S3.
• Familiarity with building durable processing pipelines using Temporal.io.
• Exposure to column-oriented OLAP engines, such as Clickhouse.
• Experience in integrating machine learning models into custom data pipelines.
• Proficiency in using Docker, Kubernetes, or MLOps tools is considered a plus.

This role is based in Abu Dhabi.
