About the Job:
We are looking for a motivated individual with strong technical capabilities and a desire to work with complex system installations as a Network Engineer at Presight. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, design, and implement data center operations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot the network, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Install and commission network infrastructure platforms, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Administer network protocols and technologies: MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IPSEC.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive network documentation.
- Design, deploy, and manage LAN, WAN, MPLS, and cloud network infrastructures.
- Document designs focused on network security.
- Develop and maintain incident and change management procedures.
- Deploy and manage network security devices, including routers and firewalls.
- Investigate security incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
- Monitor network performance and implement solutions to optimize efficiency.
- Conduct capacity planning and recommend enhancements for future network needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network security solutions.
- Establish secure connections between on-premises networks and cloud resources.
- Automate routine network tasks using scripting and cloud platform tools for efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Solid experience in operating and deploying network infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with leading firewall products (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco).
- Familiarity with security technologies (IPSec/SSL VPNs, IDS/IPS, UTM, WAF).
- Proficient in network monitoring tools (Zabbix, Syslog, SNMP).
- Experience with Cisco, Huawei, and Aruba technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering or network security.
- Knowledge of designing and implementing large-scale enterprise infrastructures.
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, and policy-based routing.
- Experience with next-generation firewalls and cloud connectivity (AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of routing protocols like RADIUS and MAC Authentication Bypass.
- Relevant certifications (CCIE, CCNP, NSE4, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% annually.
