About the Job:
Presight, an ADX-listed public company and a leader in big data analytics powered by GenAI, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer. This role is critical in developing high-performance data solutions and information products. The QA Engineer will evaluate and assess application potential by testing the compatibility of new programs with existing systems, ensuring adherence to application objectives, specifications, and QA standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute manual test cases.
- Influence better software requirements and promote bug prevention strategies.
- Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills as well as expertise in automation engineering.
- Automate repeated tasks and build test coverage using the Selenium framework.
- Develop new automated test frameworks to establish product quality standards.
- Conduct various types of testing, including non-functional, usability, security, and API testing.
- Own end-to-end test activities, working closely with development teams.
- Identify gaps in requirements and refine them for testability.
- Introduce best practices in testing and project development life cycles.
- Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment) and other organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field. Relevant certification is a plus.
- 3+ years in the software testing environment (manual + automation).
- Significant experience as a QA in a software company with a focus on automation and manual testing.
- Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile test methodology, non-functional and performance testing.
- Good knowledge of networks, distributed systems, and SQL databases.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating technical problems clearly.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is required.
