Senior Architect - Cyber Security

About the Job
The Senior Architect - Cyber Security will play a key role in designing and implementing robust security solutions to protect the organization's digital assets. This role requires a deep understanding of cyber threats, security technologies, and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security architecture solutions to secure the organization's IT infrastructure.
• Design and review security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct security assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Lead security projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures.
• Stay updated on the latest cyber threats and trends to proactively enhance security measures.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members in the cyber security domain.

Qualifications:
To qualify, you must have:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other relevant certifications.
• Proven experience in cyber security architecture, including network security, application security, and cloud security.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
• Privacy-related qualifications/certifications, e.g., International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), GDPR, etc.
• Experience with privacy operations tools like Forcepoint, OneTrust, and data discovery solutions.
• Experience with authentication standards and technologies such as multi-factor authentication, JSON Web Token (JWT), and single sign-on (SSO).
• Knowledge of identity and access management best practices and related software solutions such as SailPoint, BeyondTrust PAM, Azure PIM/EPM, CyberArk, ForgeRock, Okta, or Ping Identity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related writing and presentation software.
• Expertise in local and international data protection and information security laws and practices, including an in-depth understanding of the Abu Dhabi Global Market Data Protection Regulation and EU’s General Data Protection Regulation.
• Experience with the implementation of data privacy standards like GDPR in a complex organizational environment.
• Experience with the management and coordination of IT Risk and IT Audits.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive and confidential information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
