About the Job
Presight, the region's leading big data analytics company, is seeking a meticulous and expert Senior Engineer - Site Reliability. You will build and support our delivery model that empowers product and technology teams to develop and deliver high-quality products, improve platform infrastructure, and strengthen the reliability of our products and solutions. This role is crucial for defining and establishing the delivery model for developing cutting-edge analytics solutions and services.
Responsibilities
- Foster a positive SRE culture that promotes frequent releases, high levels of automation, and software reliability.
- Lead and troubleshoot high-priority incidents impacting the organization, providing timely support to resolve critical incidents.
- Identify application patterns and analytics in support of improved service level objectives while integrating self-service and resiliency patterns.
- Review and modify CI/CD principles and service maturity iteratively, striving for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to propose, architect, and implement innovative and transformational solutions.
- Champion SRE approaches to predict and prevent disruptive events and improve solution availability.
- Design and enable automated change, release, and upgrade management practices across existing products and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance controls, standards, and practices.
- Improve service availability and scalability through tuning, automation, tools, and processes.
- Manage 24X7 on-call support.
- Analyze service performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide measurable improvement plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, developing a trusted advisor relationship with executive sponsors.
- Comply with policies, procedures, plans, and related risk assessments in Quality Health Safety and Environment, Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, and Governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in CI/CD tools and DevOps processes.
- Must have experience with Kubernetes cluster deployment and upgrade.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Linux, Kubernetes, and Python is essential.
- Experience with Azure or any public cloud is required.
- At least 3 years of experience with a strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
