The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to design and implement advanced data architectures and solutions to support Presight's growing needs. As a key contributor, you will help define our data strategy, optimize our analytics platform, and ensure the scalability, security, and integrity of our data systems.
Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture Design
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance data architectures aligned with Presight's business and analytics needs.
- Design and implement solutions for large-scale data integration, transformation, and storage.
- Define standards for data modeling, schema design, and metadata management.

Data Governance and Quality
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement data governance policies and practices.
- Support compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.

Technical Leadership
- Provide technical guidance to data engineers, analysts, and other team members.
- Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and tools to enhance the data ecosystem.
- Develop strategies to optimize data pipelines and workflows for performance and cost-effectiveness.

Collaboration and Strategy
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML, product development, and business units, to align data strategies with organizational goals.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities to leverage data and analytics for competitive advantage.
- Develop roadmaps for implementing modern data architectures, including cloud-based and hybrid solutions.

Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation of data architectures, processes, and solutions.
- Provide regular updates and reports on data architecture progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance of Organizations policies.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Experience:
- 8+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise data solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises hybrid solutions.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in at least two Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance tools.
- Experience in widely-used data management patterns and data governance methodologies.
- Proficiency in big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and modern databases (e.g., Snowflake, MongoDB, Clickhouse).
- Advanced knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend).
- Strong command of programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL.
- Analytical and Leadership Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
- Strong understanding of Data Modeling and defining logical & physical data models.
