  • Job Description Overview: AIQ is an Abu Dhabi based joint venture company between Presight and ADNOC, focusing on developing artificial intelligence technologies for the energy world. They aim to provide end-to-end solutions using data, cloud, and talents to develop AI solutions that reduce costs and generate revenue for clients. AIQ is looking for professionals who share the desire to make meaningful contributions to its mission.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Conduct cutting-edge research in machine learning with a focus on computer vision, time series, or natural language processing.
    • Contribute to the development of research proposals for R&D projects.
    • Generate innovative research ideas and develop data-driven algorithms and prototypes for industrial software solutions.
    • Collaborate with research institutions and participate in industry events and conferences.
    • Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
    • Work in a team setting with other research scientists, managers, and data scientists.
  • Qualifications:
    • PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on machine learning, computer vision, or natural language processing.
    • Demonstrated expertise in building machine learning models, statistical data analysis, and large language models.
    • Extensive experience with machine-learning algorithms, deep-learning models, Large Language Models, and development tools.
    • Ability to produce high-quality research publications and patents.
    • Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Prior experience in industry research or applied machine learning.
