As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work collaboratively with the software engineering team to deploy and operate our systems, focusing on automating and streamlining operations and processes. Your key responsibilities will include building and maintaining deployment, monitoring, and operational tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software engineers to deploy and operate systems.
- Automate and streamline operations; maintain a scalable CI/CD framework.
- Track issues in the ticket management system and work with engineers to resolve and deploy fixes promptly.
- Create and maintain support documentation specific to deployments.
- Foster a multicultural and diverse team environment.
- Comply with Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and other organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in DevOps.
- Proficiency in developing CI/CD pipelines and building health/performance monitoring systems.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Expertise in Configuration Management and Deployment tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform).
- Experience with Docker and Container Orchestration tools (Kubernetes or Docker Swarm).
- Proficient in scripting, Git, SQL, and MySQL.
- Working knowledge of coding in Java and Python.
Language Requirements:
- Strong communication skills are required for conveying and receiving information effectively.
