As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with software engineering to deploy and operate systems. Your role includes automating and streamlining operations, as well as building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a solid background in software development with strong Python coding skills.
- Grow and lead a talented team of engineers focused on individual ownership and impact.
- Maintain a scalable and robust CI/CD framework.
- Ensure effective issue tracking in the ticket management system.
- Collaborate with engineers and QA for timely resolution and deployment of fixes.
- Maintain deployment-specific support documentation.
- Communicate clearly and consistently in a diverse, multicultural environment.
- Comply with QHSE policies and related risk assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of DevOps experience.
- Proficient in developing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in building health and performance monitoring systems.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Configuration Management tools like Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform, etc.
- Proficient in Docker and Container Orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
- Solid experience with SQL and MySQL.
- Strong understanding of coding/scripting languages (Java, Python).
