Senior Specialist - Data Analysis

Presight is looking for a Senior Specialist – Data Analysis for a 12-month contract in Abu Dhabi. This role is pivotal in interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports. Key responsibilities include searching for solutions to locate and define new process improvement opportunities, developing and implementing databases and data analytics strategies to optimize statistical efficiency, and identifying trends or patterns in complex data sets. Collaboration with management and IT teams to prioritize business requirements and understanding the types of data collected in various databases is essential. Compliance with various policies around data governance and operational safety is also required.

The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst, coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Additionally, candidates should be self-driven, motivated, and possess a customer-centric mindset. A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field is necessary, along with technical expertise in big data modeling, database design, and data mining techniques. Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Spark/Hive SQL, Python, R, and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is expected. Experience with statistical analysis and any cloud technology is recommended. Flexibility to travel to customer locations as needed is also a requirement.
