We are currently seeking a skilled AV and Collaboration Technology Specialist to join our team. This role involves supporting the design, deployment, and maintenance of AV and collaboration solutions across various environments, including meeting rooms and conference spaces. You will be responsible for the daily operations, troubleshooting, and optimization of AV systems, video conferencing platforms, and collaboration tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AV System Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and test AV hardware, video conferencing equipment, and digital displays; perform routine maintenance and updates; maintain AV inventory.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for AV tools; diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues; train end-users on AV best practices.
  • Operations Management: Monitor AV systems remotely; collaborate with IT teams on network-related issues; ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Meeting Room & Event Support: Set up and configure meeting spaces; provide on-site and remote support for events and meetings; coordinate with vendors for repairs and upgrades.
  • Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain documentation for AV setups; develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); improve AV workflows to enhance user experience.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in AV support, installation, or operations.
  • AV Technology Expertise: Proficient in platforms such as Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, and collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Webex.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of AV-over-IP, network configurations; strong problem-solving skills for resolving AV hardware and software issues.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications include CTS, Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, or equivalent.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
