Salesforce is seeking a highly experienced Lead Tableau Solution Engineer to join our Tableau/Analytics Solution Engineering team in the Middle East. This team comprises data and analytics professionals focused on helping customers solve their business challenges using Tableau’s leading analytics platform. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting customer and sales team success, providing technical expertise in data, business intelligence, predictive analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI).
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers and collaborate with account teams to understand their needs for data and analytics solutions.
- Demonstrate how Tableau’s platform and Salesforce Analytics can drive customer value through tailored platform demonstrations.
- Conduct workshops to promote understanding and adoption of Tableau across various stakeholder groups.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding customers on best practices and their data strategies.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of the Tableau Platform, including aspects like data integration, data visualization, governance, architecture, and security.
- Lead technical responses to RFPs and RFIs.
- Collaborate with product management to stay informed about the latest developments and provide field feedback.
- Create reusable assets to enhance team productivity.
Required Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, data integration, analytics, or data warehouses/lakes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities in data and analytics.
- Proficient in at least one BI platform (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven relationship-building skills with customers and stakeholders.
- Degree or equivalent experience required, with the evaluation based on core proficiencies.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English is mandatory, and fluency in Arabic is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with predictive analytics and AI, particularly machine learning.
- Working knowledge of data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks, and ML platforms like Azure ML and Amazon SageMaker.
- Experience with web technologies, security protocols, and application integration.
