The Head of Digital Transformation is responsible for leading a global software team. This position entails the global responsibility for defining the development, go-to-market, and delivery strategy of integrated digital solutions for the EAD (Electrification, Automation and Digitalization) business. We are looking for a self-motivated, dynamic, open-minded, and innovative colleague, dedicated to shaping our digital transformation organization.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Your focus will be on developing and ultimately leading a profitable new business field and setting up a team of Software Solution Architects to successfully establish digital solutions for our core industry customers (maritime, chemicals, pharma, refinery).
• You will be starting in a task force set-up and growing a global organization including business and operational model, value proposition, portfolio roadmap, work processes, etc.
• You coach, mentor, and support the leadership team peers and the wider EAD organization on their digital transformation journey and establish a strong internal and external & partnership network.
• Close collaboration across the EAD functions, regions, and within the Transformation of Industry Business Area is a key success factor.

What You Bring

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or IT or other relevant subject area.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software architecture, industrial processes, and operation management within the Energy Industry market.
• An understanding of complex rid and control software solutions.
• Industry knowledge in chemicals or process industries.
• You love leading and connecting people, transforming cultures, and shifting businesses into new growth fields.
• You have strong business insight with a good sense for future markets, our core industry, and understanding customer value drivers and how to capture and monetize them.
• You have a track record in building dedicated teams, and you find lean solutions to complex challenges leading to the best result for our company as a whole.
• You successfully built and led digital / software businesses in an industry context in the past.
• Representing the business at the executive level is nothing new for you as well as trustfully connecting with partners and customers.
• A state-of-the-art approach to virtual collaboration is your strength and you use lean approaches to implement strategies and create followers in a matrix organization.
• You make no compromises in Employee Health and Safety, Compliance, and good leadership practices.
