We are looking for a Security Operations Manager to join our Global Security team in the APAC & MENA region. In this role, you will report to the Regional Security Manager and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Global Security functions in the region. You will serve as the primary point of contact for security matters and have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple regional locations.
What you’ll do:
- Lead all Global Security related functions in the APAC & MENA region, ensuring a safe and secure workplace.
- Collaborate with the Global Security management team and other departments to address security requirements.
- Communicate significant developments to Global Security leadership and coordinate with the Global Security Operations Center.
- Manage security vendor contracts, including onsite guarding services, technology support, and event security.
- Conduct security and safety training aligned with Snap’s Security Awareness Training & Education team.
- Develop physical security plans, procedures, and emergency protocols for new projects in collaboration with trusted vendors.
- Produce timely reports and metrics on security operations.
- Build relationships with local emergency and law enforcement services.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with security equipment and technologies, including camera monitoring and access control systems.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules to meet operational demands.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic experience with computer-based technologies.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school degree or GED, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 6 years in military, law enforcement, or security organizations.
- Experience in vendor management, specifically with security integrators and guard services.
- Physical capability to lift up to 10 kgs for security operations.
- Current CPR and Basic First Aid certification.
- Local security certifications (e.g. BSIS, NYC) required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the security, medical, emergency services, law enforcement, military, or customer service industries is advantageous.
- Language proficiency in Arabic and other regional languages is preferred.
