As part of the Steer Studios team, you will collaborate with top global gaming professionals who have relocated to Riyadh, alongside innovative and passionate local talent.
Steer Studios is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Administrator with the experience and expertise to set up and manage robust infrastructure and computing systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing multiple networks and user solutions, ensuring high availability and robustness of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on various infrastructure services needed for studio production and operations.
- Assist with all Level 2 escalations regarding Firewall, Switches, Network equipment, Storage, Virtual Machines, and SaaS services.
- Manage permissions, rules, and policies of software used within the company.
- Design, maintain, and troubleshoot Active Directory group policies, login scripts, DNS, and DHCP.
- Maintain Active Directory and virtual servers.
- Build and configure Windows and VMWare servers.
- Evaluate new requirements, technical designs, and standards for the studio.
- Oversee data backup and restoration processes.
- Maintain documentation for IT solutions architected, deployed, and used in the organization.
- Efficiently monitor deployed services and support automated reporting.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Assist in end-user support (Level 3 and above).
Qualifications and Key Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable to a constantly evolving production environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- 5+ years of Systems Administration and Support experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a Storage or Virtualization Administrator is preferred.
- Strong ITSM management skills. Experience with ManageEngine/ServiceNow products is preferred.
- Windows server installation and administration (Active directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, DFS/R, Office 365).
- Linux configuration and administration skills (RHEL/Ubuntu).
- VMware/Nutanix/Hypervisor installation and administration via vCLI/API/Ansible.
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with software such as JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Perforce, ManageEngine, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Inventory, and Miro.
- Programming languages: Python, SQL, PowerShell, Bash.
- Scripting and automation skills.
- Familiarity with A/V systems.
