As a Senior Manager for Quick Commerce Logistics Performance at talabat, you will oversee logistics for new verticals including groceries and non-food items while driving performance improvements and problem-solving initiatives. Your role will involve identifying strategic improvement opportunities, managing complex projects across various lines of business, and leading innovations such as drone delivery. You will collaborate with country heads and regional teams to execute plans and enhance logistics technology, ensuring operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Monitor logistics for new verticals, focusing on performance improvement.
- Strategic Initiatives: Identify opportunities to leverage logistics products and explore new business models.
- Project Management: Oversee complex projects from initiation to deployment, including planning and stakeholder management.
- Special Projects and Innovation: Lead significant projects that can transform quick commerce operations and secure stakeholder buy-in.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Work with regional teams to resolve issues and drive team development.
- Technology Coordination: Collaborate with tech partners to troubleshoot and enhance logistics technology.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent work experience.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years in operational roles, preferably in FoodTech logistics or management consulting.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized and process-driven, capable of managing a heavy workload.
- Leadership and Management: Experience managing direct reports and fostering team culture is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Ability to manage complexity and drive decision-making.
- Technological Proficiency: Proficient in Google Office suite, with advanced skills in GSheet.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning.
- Travel: Willing to travel to all talabat markets as required.
