As a Senior Manager leading the Growth Data Science unit, you will be pivotal in driving and accelerating growth strategies across various dimensions. This includes marketing optimization, growth product initiatives (e.g., churn reduction), and revenue optimization. You will collaborate closely with product teams, senior marketing, and partner growth leadership to facilitate data-driven decision-making and achieve transformative business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategies to enhance logistics operations through data analysis, identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvements.
- Foster a data-driven culture emphasizing rigorous data analysis and actionable insights within logistics operations.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders across product, business, and engineering teams to support business strategies.
- Guide and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts, fostering a supportive and innovative work environment.
- Spearhead innovative data science projects, leveraging predictive analytics and machine learning models to enhance logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the development and maintenance of a robust data infrastructure that supports analytics and governance.
- Oversee the generation of analytical reports and dashboards for tracking KPIs and providing strategic insights.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, translating complex insights into actionable recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate cutting-edge practices into Talabat’s strategy.
- Design and manage experimental frameworks, including A/B testing, to validate new ideas and measure their impact.
- Provide analytical support for cross-functional teams in developing KPIs aligned with strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or related fields; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in data science, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven leadership skills in managing high-performing teams and developing strategic business plans.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication abilities to influence a range of stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, along with expertise in data modeling and analysis.
