This role sits within our Shopping Tribe (food vertical in the app), specifically in the Finding & Discovery domain. You’ll work closely with domain leads in product and engineering on strategic topics and support multiple cross-functional squads in shaping the future of discovery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop deep domain knowledge of your squad's product area and collaborate with your manager to solve complex problems.
- Engage in generative research to understand the problem space and design delightful customer experiences.
- Minimize assumptions in the design process and work with product managers to define focus areas while measuring ongoing improvements.
- Gather continuous feedback from users throughout problem-solving stages.
- Create elegant and simple solutions to complex interaction problems.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to generate ideas and build consensus.
- Utilize and evolve the design system to produce flows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity visuals.
- Use metrics for continuous user experience evaluation and improvement.
- Improve design processes and tools to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Present your work to peers and stakeholders for review and feedback.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a creative, supportive culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts/Design/Marketing/Graphic Design/Visual Communication/Multimedia Graphics preferred.
- 5-6 years of full-time UX & UI design experience in agile, consumer-focused, high-performance organizations.
- Effective problem-solving skills with advanced knowledge of frameworks such as double diamond and design thinking.
- 2-3 years of experience in user interaction and organizing workshops with stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, InVision, Zeplin).
- A strong portfolio showcasing design thought processes and an advanced understanding of user experience.
- Proven track record of delivering quality designs and understanding the critical details at every release stage.
- Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and inspire action.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment with a growth mindset.
