As a Senior Product Designer, you will partner with cross-functional teams to transform the shopping and payment experience. You will balance your desire to understand user behavior with a commitment to creating functional and emotionally resonant experiences. Challenging the status quo, you will explore how to enhance user experience through emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate open-ended, conceptual ideas into tangible product features.
- Lead end-to-end design processes, from initial research to polished UI/UX designs, ensuring high-quality execution.
- Design flows and experiences that simplify complex actions into usable interfaces.
- Engage in feedback loops with designers and the broader product team to improve quality output continually.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, creative designers, and content strategists to oversee the user experience from conception to launch.
- Articulate the rationale behind design decisions to a broader product team and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience designing and shipping features with an end-to-end experience across various platforms.
- Strong interaction design background, capable of defining how an experience should behave based on user needs and product scalability.
- Proficient in prototyping tools to demonstrate user flows and interactions.
- Extensive experience in visual design with a solid understanding of typography, UI design for both desktop and mobile, color, layout, iconography, and how these elements influence product functionality.
- Strategic product thinking with a record of developing goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions that benefit users and the company.
