ArcGIS Enterprise Administrator

About the Job:
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an ArcGIS Enterprise Administrator to support various components of the ArcGIS Enterprise platform. This role involves the initial setup and ongoing maintenance of ArcGIS systems, focusing on security configurations, licensing management, hardware requirements, and ensuring system stability through monitoring and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Deployment: Install and configure ArcGIS Enterprise components, including Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Data Store.
• Security Configuration: Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and software licenses.
• Ongoing Maintenance: Monitor system health, implement backup and recovery procedures, apply updates, and troubleshoot issues.
• User and Data Management: Create and manage user accounts, and organize data for accessibility and security.
• Advanced Administration: Utilize scripting and automation for efficiency, and integrate ArcGIS Enterprise with other applications.
• Training and Support: Provide user training and maintain documentation for the ArcGIS environment.

Requirements:

• Experience in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting software applications on various operating systems.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems for monitoring and configuration management, and tools like Splunk.
• Technical experience with server environments (application, web, database) and cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
• Exceptional communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Language Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
