Job Description:
Must Have:
- Proficiency in MicroStrategy tools like Developer and Object Manager.
- Experience with CR deployments from Development to Production by moving Packages.
- Competence in using Workstation.
- Development of MicroStrategy objects, reports, and dashboards.
- Administration of the MicroStrategy platform.
- Experience working on a Windows Server platform.
- Management of users, groups, roles, and licenses.
- Experience with version upgrades.
- Ability to interact with the MicroStrategy regional support team to track issues.
- Strong knowledge of database queries and stored procedures.
Good to Have:
- Shell scripting skills.
- PLSQL/Teradata development experience.
- Awareness of the change management process.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Manage the MicroStrategy Production platform.
- Maintain platform health through constant monitoring (both manual and automated).
- Take corrective actions on alerts from monitoring systems.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on encountered issues and work towards permanent fixes on the production platform.
- Manage code deployments to the production environment.
- Apply product-specific fixes/patches released by MicroStrategy as needed.
- Open tickets with MicroStrategy Support for product-related issues and track them to closure in coordination with the design team.
- Collaborate closely with OS administration to ensure the environment is updated with the latest patches and fixes.
- Open Requests for Change (RFCs) as required by the change management process for any changes in the production environment.
