Veeam Backup & Replication Engineer

About the Job:
We are looking for a Veeam Backup & Replication Engineer to manage and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires working on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a full-time commitment that includes shift work during afternoons and nights.

Job Description:

• Manage and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform regular backup and restore tests to validate data integrity and availability.
• Collaborate with Level 3 support and other IT teams to resolve complex backup and recovery issues.
• Implement and document backup and disaster recovery procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Optimize backup schedules and storage utilization to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Provide training and support to Level 1 technicians to enhance overall team performance.
• Configure backup jobs to meet defined policy and provide data restore within the SLA.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to backup and recovery processes.

Required Technical Skill Set:

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in managing Veeam backup and replication administration.
• Good expertise knowledge/hands-on Veeam Backup Solution. Veeam certification will be an added advantage.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of automation is a plus.
• Positive attitude, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Extremely motivated with good interpersonal skills.
