Artificial Intelligence Engineer

About the Job:
The Technology Innovation Institute (TII) is a global independent research and development organization committed to building a community of multi-disciplinary scientists and researchers. TII focuses on addressing major societal challenges through pioneering research and technology prototypes.

As an AI Engineer within the Artificial Intelligence Cross-Center Unit, you will collaborate closely with researchers to transform proposals into optimized, scalable implementations. This role includes both algorithm design and infrastructure development, particularly in cloud and edge machine learning.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI models to meet project requirements.
• Convert AI/ML models into APIs for other developers.
• Perform statistical analysis on big data sets.
• Manage project infrastructure and the development of AI models.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop machine learning models.
• Convert offline models into production systems.
• Develop and deploy scalable tools for machine learning training and inference.
• Identify new technologies to improve system performance and reliability.
• Apply software engineering best practices to machine learning projects.
• Communicate with various stakeholders and contribute to knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

• BSc or MSc degree in Software Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a related role.
• Strong software engineering skills in complex, multi-language systems.
• Proficiency in languages such as C++, Java, and Python.
• Experience with Linux administration.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and database systems.
• Knowledge of machine learning tools like Spark, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
