The Artificial Intelligence Cross-Center Unit at TII serves as the machine learning powerhouse, collaborating with various research centers to leverage the benefits of AI in projects that address challenging issues across multiple sectors, including technology, healthcare, cybersecurity, and government. Our focus is on integrating core elements of intelligence, such as perception, sensing, planning, and language, into the design and prototyping of next-generation systems with human-like intelligence. We develop advanced AI computing resources and scalable software systems that enhance infrastructure performance.
We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer - Audio Modality who will implement, test, optimize, and deploy multimodal generative foundation models with a concentration on audio modalities. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining data pipelines, demonstrating proficiency in generative AI techniques, and ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards.
Responsibilities
- Implement, test, and deploy multimodal generative foundation models focused on audio.
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for various applications.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of generative AI techniques, particularly with large language models (LLMs).
- Establish best practices in software engineering applicable to generative AI.
- Stay updated with emerging AI trends, tools, and frameworks.
- Manage codebase using version control systems like Git.
- Ensure AI solutions align with security, privacy standards, and address ethical considerations.
- Create detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams and technical specifications, and contribute to open source and publications.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions.
- Expertise in audio-related fields, including but not limited to audio generation, text-to-speech (TTS) synthesis, speech recognition, and audio-visual learning.
- Proficient in popular machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Familiarity with Docker and MLOps, including CI/CD processes, model training, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
