Technology Innovation Institute (TII) is a leading global scientific research center focused on advancing fields such as artificial intelligence, autonomous robotics, quantum computing, cryptography, and advanced materials. We are currently building and commercializing our proprietary post-quantum protocols and applications to secure enterprise digital spaces.
As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will leverage your extensive experience to build and secure CI/CD pipelines by integrating security practices into DevOps processes. You will implement and maintain secure infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible, and utilize your cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure) along with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Your role involves applying advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to automate security testing and vulnerability scanning. You will provide technical guidance and solutions, ensuring the implementation of best practices and adherence to security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies, integrating security throughout the development lifecycle.
- Use scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and security tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, vulnerability scanners, SIEM) to address security vulnerabilities and enhance system defenses.
- Automate security testing and vulnerability scanning processes to proactively identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Implement and enforce security best practices and standards while responding to security incidents with thorough root cause analysis.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in DevSecOps roles, with a strong track record of building and securing CI/CD pipelines.
- Extensive knowledge of DevOps principles, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with security tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, vulnerability scanners, SIEM) and programming languages (C/C++, C#, Swift, GoLang, Python) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
