About the Job:
Thales is seeking a Senior Solution Architect specializing in Physical Security Systems. The physical security of sites, events, airports, and energy production is crucial for Thales customers. This role encompasses the implementation of security and safety systems across a diverse range of capabilities, including information systems, networks, telecoms, and civil engineering.

The projects are innovative, international, and multi-industry, necessitating comprehensive technical knowledge of solutions and components, as well as expertise in system integration. The primary objective of this position is to ensure the successful implementation of these projects by providing substantial added value through products like the Security Digital Platform (SDP) and by managing the overall engineering processes for deployment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support customers in their technical decisions and promote Thales solutions (SDP, etc.).
  • Describe and structure future security system architectures in collaboration with project and engineering teams.
  • Act as Design Authority and coordinate internal and external partners to maintain a coherent architecture.
  • Participate in cost estimation for technical solutions and ensure their competitiveness.
  • Oversee the selection of innovative technical solutions with a long-term perspective (15-30 years).
  • Communicate solutions in alignment with PRS strategy and manage domain-specific sales.
  • Contribute to and guide technical policy.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 15 years of experience in various Systems Engineering life cycle activities, including 5 years in technical management roles.

Qualification, Certification & Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, IT, or a relevant Engineering field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Structured approach to systems architectures and proficiency in associated modeling tools.
  • Broad technical knowledge in information systems, sensors, end-effectors, and telecom infrastructure.
  • Understanding of digital technologies deployed in the Cloud.
  • Ability to analyze operational needs and derive technical requirements from them.
  • Capacity to manage technical contributors, global business units, and integration partners.
  • Innovative vision with a solution-building perspective and a pragmatic approach to system delivery.
  • Strong persuasive abilities to support Thales' strategic objectives in security systems.
