About the Job
The Senior Mobile Software Engineer (Flutter) will play a critical role in driving the development and optimization of our mobile applications, using Flutter to create scalable, high-performance mobile solutions. This role demands a skilled engineer with a deep understanding of mobile technologies and at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Flutter. As a Senior Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust mobile products that align with Tradeling’s business goals and technical requirements.
Your Role
This position requires a results-driven professional with strong problem-solving skills, a passion for mobile technology, and the ability to deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment. Your role revolves around:
- Looking after the design, development, and deployment of mobile applications using Flutter, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless user experiences.
- Collaborating closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and ensuring the highest quality of the mobile applications.
- Optimizing mobile applications for performance and scalability, ensuring the best possible performance across a variety of devices and operating systems.
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to users.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to Flutter and mobile development.
- Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Participating in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the mobile development lifecycle, including refining processes, tools, and best practices.
Who We Look For
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications and skills:
- 4+ years of experience in mobile development with a strong focus on Flutter and relevant front-end technologies (e.g., Dart, JavaScript, etc.).
- Proven experience in building and deploying mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter.
- Strong knowledge of mobile development frameworks, UI components, and architectural patterns.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud services integration.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimizing mobile applications for speed and efficiency.
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and testing frameworks.
- Proficiency in writing unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure the reliability of mobile applications.
