About the Job:
Data Engineer - Azure

Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• At least 6 years of experience in data engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of UAE banking experience.
• Experience with Azure and SAS data products is preferred.

Technical Skills Required:

• Primary: SQL, Python/PySpark, Azure (Delta Lake, Data Factory, DataBricks).
• Secondary: SAS DIS, SAS Macros, SAS Enterprise Guide.

Job Description:

• Responsible for the entire life cycle of data warehouse and cloud environment, focusing on building data platforms.
• Coordinate with Technical Lead, Architecture team, Data Engineering team, BSA, and QE Team on assigned projects.
• Design and maintain end-to-end architecture for Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Marts.
• Expertise in Python & PySpark development.
• Experience in Cloud data warehouses like Azure Synapse, Snowflake.
• Work with structured and unstructured data.
• Develop ETL/Pipeline using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory for batch and real-time data integration.
• Lead data ingestion, preparation, integration, and operationalization efforts.
• Own the end-to-end development process, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
