Position

The GCP Data Engineer at Expleo Group will be responsible for working with various data tools and cloud architecture in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role entails the following responsibilities:

  • Proficient in writing code, especially in Python; familiarity with Scala or Java is a plus.
  • Ability to write and comprehend complex database queries, particularly for BigQuery (GCP's data warehouse).
  • Expertise in extracting data from multiple sources, cleaning, and organizing it appropriately.
  • Knowledge of structuring data within data lakes and associated systems.
  • Establishing workflows to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Hands-on experience required with the following GCP Data Lake Tools:

  • Cloud Storage (GCS)
  • BigQuery
  • Cloud Dataflow
  • Cloud Dataproc
  • Pub/Sub
  • Cloud Functions & Cloud Run
  • DataPlex
  • Looker

Data Management Skills:

  • Proficient in batch processing and stream processing.
  • Familiarity with various data formats and workflow tools.

Qualifications:

  • Years of Experience: 5-12 years.
