The Enterprise Architect plays a crucial role in designing, documenting, and leading the implementation of technical solutions for customers following the sale of Veeam products. This position requires bridging customer business requirements with Veeam’s technology, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, aligned with best practices, and supportive of partner-driven implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical discovery sessions with customers to assess their IT landscape and solutions.
- Design, document, and create both high-level and detailed solution architectures.
- Develop and maintain reference architectures to standardize deployments.
- Provide technical oversight during implementation and support post-sales processes.
- Collaborate closely with Pre-Sales, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful solution adoption.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive IT experience, especially in a solution architecture or technical leadership role.
- Deep understanding of data protection, backup & recovery, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and container security in enterprise environments.
- Technical expertise in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and storage systems.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Certifications:
- TOGAF (or equivalent enterprise architecture certification) – Mandatory.
- Veeam VMCE – Mandatory.
- Relevant certifications in cloud, security, or virtualization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automation & scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Ability to work independently and drive innovation.

Work Environment: Frequent collaboration with internal teams and engagement with customers and partners. Potential travel may be required to support global enterprise deployments.
