We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer who is passionate about cutting-edge technology. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain our cloud-native backend services, building scalable, high-performance applications that power our Fintech, open banking, and digital asset platforms. Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud-Native Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust cloud-native backend platforms.
  • Performance Engineering: Build and optimize high-performing, resilient systems.
  • Reactive Architecture: Leverage reactive programming principles to create responsive and high-throughput systems.
  • Real-Time Processing: Develop event-driven systems for real-time data processing and integrations.
  • API Mastery: Develop and enhance RESTful, gRPC, and GraphQL APIs to support diverse use cases.
  • Microservices Excellence: Develop and maintain scalable microservices using Quarkus or Spring Boot.
  • Data Efficiency: Work with relational and non-relational databases to design efficient data models.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in backend development with a focus on cloud-native architectures.
  • Java Proficiency: Strong experience with Java 17 or 21, particularly in implementing reactive programming.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong experience with Quarkus or Spring Boot. Experience in Go, .NET, or JavaScript is a plus.
  • API Development: Expertise in building and consuming RESTful, gRPC, and GraphQL APIs.
  • Event-Driven Systems: Hands-on experience with Kafka or equivalent technologies is advantageous.
  • Database Proficiency: Proficiency in working with both relational and non-relational databases.
  • Open-Mindedness: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology stacks and frameworks.
  • Web3 Knowledge: Familiarity with Web3 concepts and technologies is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
