Position

As an Audio-Visual Manager, you will participate in the construction and maintenance of our studios. Your role is to ensure that programs are broadcast on time and of the highest quality. You will carry out updates and repairs, as well as operate and maintain the systems. The ideal candidate should be able to build studios from scratch according to provided plans and diagrams, manage the technical support team, and maintain various broadcast systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and test new facilities and equipment.
  • Maintain equipment for video production, broadcast, and interactive media.
  • Set up and monitor audio-visual links between units.
  • Analyze and repair technical faults on equipment and systems.
  • Minimize loss of service during equipment failures by quickly identifying and implementing alternative service methods.
  • Set up and operate equipment and transmission links during outside broadcasts.
  • Design and install custom audio-visual circuits.
  • Design and manufacture hardware and systems.
  • Develop and use awareness of best workplace health and safety practices.
  • Interpret and implement instructions and requests from product owners, creative directors, and colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other colleagues.
  • Stay up to date with industry changes in technology by building and maintaining a network of contacts and investigating new systems and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of photography concepts such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO speed, exposure, and camera lenses.
  • Experience in electronic engineering and using communication equipment.
  • Advanced knowledge of operating a video camera.
  • Advanced knowledge of production video switchers and live chroma keying.
  • Advanced understanding of SDI infrastructure.
  • Sufficient color vision and hearing.
  • Excellent IT and project management skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Fault-finding skills and the capacity to creatively solve technical problems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to remain calm under pressure.
