Responsibilities:
- Install and test new facilities and equipment.
- Maintain equipment for video production, broadcast, and interactive media.
- Set up and monitor audio-visual links between units.
- Analyze and repair technical faults on equipment and systems.
- Minimize service disruption when equipment fails by quickly identifying alternative service methods.
- Set up and operate equipment and transmission links during outside broadcasts.
- Design and install custom audio-visual circuits.
- Design and manufacture hardware and systems.
- Develop awareness of best workplace health and safety practices.
- Interpret and implement instructions and requests from product owners, creative directors, and colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other colleagues.
- Stay updated with industry changes and technology by maintaining a network of contacts and investigating new systems and techniques.
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of photography concepts (aperture, shutter speed, ISO speed, exposure, camera lenses).
- Experience in electronic engineering and using communication equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of operating a video camera and production video switcher.
- Experience with live chroma keying.
- Advanced understanding of SDI infrastructure.
- Sufficient color vision and hearing.
- Excellent IT and Project Management skills.
- Strong communication and people skills with the ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is typically expected.
