What You'll Be Doing
- BIM Modeling & Management: Setup, configure, and maintain BIM project models and templates. Ensure models are structured correctly for multi-disciplinary coordination.
- Coordination & Clash Detection: Lead BIM coordination meetings, perform regular clash detection and interference analysis using Navisworks, and collaborate with design teams to resolve technical conflicts before they hit the field.
- Standards Enforcement: Implement and enforce the Project BIM Execution Plan (BEP), ensuring all internal teams and external contractors adhere to established LOD (Level of Development) standards and naming conventions.
- Data Integration: Oversee the integration of non-graphical asset data within the BIM models to support downstream 4D (scheduling), 5D (cost), and 6D (facility management) requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality control audits on 3D models and extracted 2D documentation to verify accuracy, integrity, and compliance with project delivery standards.
- Training & Support: Provide technical support, mentoring, and troubleshooting guidance to engineers and modelers on BIM software and digital workflows.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, RICS) are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of dedicated experience in BIM implementation and coordination on large-scale infrastructure, buildings, or mega-projects.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
Desired Skills
- Experience with Civil 3D, Dynamo, or Bentley MicroStation/OpenBuildings is a significant advantage.
- Deep understanding of international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and openBIM principles (IFC, COBie).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to effectively convey complex technical workflows to non-technical stakeholders.
- Language: Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Location: Must be willing to relocate or be based full-time in Tabuk, KSA.
