The company's Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is seeking a Lead Construction Engineer - Piping for a 5-year PMC contract with Kuwait Oil Company. This contract is designed to aid KOC in reaching optimal capacity within its oilfields and enhancing its facilities through the most efficient and economical means available. The objective is to provide comprehensive project management, coordination, planning, design, engineering, construction management, contracting, procurement, project controls, and additional services for the construction of new oil field facilities, upgrading existing facilities, and transferring technology.

Primary Objectives
The primary goal of this role is to develop and manage construction and completions capabilities across PMC projects to ensure that design integrity is maintained while effectively overseeing departmental execution processes.
Responsibilities
- Promote and drive the involvement of Construction in technical design, scheduling, preliminary execution planning, and cost estimating.
- Develop and maintain a good understanding of the capabilities and current workload of Construction’s support providers and contractors.
- Hold functional responsibility for all construction and completions personnel.
- Supervise construction engineers and ensure the technical competence of construction personnel.
- Forecast requirements for construction engineering resources and allocate these resources effectively.
- Prepare man-hour estimates for project tasks.
- Initiate and promote cost reduction and productivity-enhancing initiatives.
- Provide technical supervision of designated construction engineers during the execution of their responsibilities.
- Prepare weekly project-specific progress and expenditure reports.
- Adhere to the guidelines and provisions of the Quality Assurance system.
- Ensure personal safety and safe working practices while understanding and following OH&S procedures.
Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years total experience post-graduation.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in oil and gas construction.
- A minimum of 5 years in a Lead or Senior Construction role.
